Established Marketing Agency Celebrates 43 Years of Business Success, Poised for Future Growth
Borgmeyer Marketing Group (BMG) – an established advertising/marketing agency and a mainstay of the St. Charles business community – has moved to new offices at 1540B Country Club Plaza Drive, St. Charles, Missouri 63303.
Founded in 1973 by Dan Borgmeyer, Borgmeyer’s business is the oldest advertising/marketing agency in the Gateway St. Louis region still operated by the original founder/owner. Borgmeyer Marketing Group surpassed 43 years in June of 2016. According to Agency President Dan Borgmeyer. “I am still active in the agency, full time every day, traveling the United States, flying up to four days a week, in order to meet face-to-face with our national automotive clientele”. Borgmeyer credits his company’s 90% client retention rate with the regular contact that he and his field staff maintains.
Business has grown and evolved through the years, with Dan Borgmeyer and his agency team serving a variety of clients throughout the St. Louis area. The agency shifted their focus and converted to “automotive only” in 1998 – Borgmeyer Marketing Group now represents car dealers of all automotive brands nationwide. The local dealerships BMG serves include Jim Butler Chevrolet, South County Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM, and Borgmeyer’s oldest client, the Mungenast Automotive Family.
Under Borgmeyer’s leadership, BMG has grown to 29 employees, necessitating the move from their old offices in the historic Galt House Hotel, located on Historic Main Street in St. Charles to the 13,000 sq. ft. newly remodeled office space occupying the former Bally’s Health Club on Highway 94 in St. Charles.
A Grand Opening Celebration event will be held on Friday, July 22nd from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
Borgmeyer Marketing Group is a full-service agency that performs their own Web, TV and Radio production “in-house”. They also have captive Digital and Direct Mail companies. The agency’s Annual Billings for 2015 were approximately $20,000,000.
