This building features a number of sustainable features including: White roof, reflective materials and vegetation to combat Urban Heat Island Effect; Flooring, carpeting and concrete made partially from recycled and regional materials; LED lighting for all major areas; Low VOC products for all paints, sealants, adhesives and flooring systems; Southeastern corner of the building is all glass exterior providing daylight to study lounges; Covered Bicycle Stations for 15% of the residents; Vegan Line at the dining hall; Food Pulper to increase the density of food waste that can be composted.
We hope you’ll join us in welcoming the New Year and contributing to our goal of transforming the built environment!
