In 2012, voters approved a tax increase to transform the St. Louis County Library. Called Your Library Renewed, the capital improvement project continues. Sponsored by CREW-St. Louis (Commercial Real Estate Women), the program will take a look at the extensive work to date and future plans to complete the multiyear campaign.
Kristen Sorth, director of St. Louis County Library, will discuss current and future plans for the capital improvement campaign that is upgrading or replacing 19 of the 20 library branches. Started in October 2014, the campaign is now in Phase Two. When completed in 2021, Your Library Renewed will transform the library system with modern, functional facilities designed to serve the needs of the communities it serves.
