The 2015 International Building Code (IBC) now defers to the 2013 TMS 402, Building Code Requirements for Masonry Structures, for the type and frequency of masonry special inspections. Join John Chrysler, chair of the TMS 402/602 Construction Requirements Subcommittee, for an overview of current masonry special inspection requirements and a discussion of the IBC and TMS 402/602 relationship regarding the special inspections process.
