SIUE School of Engineering Explore Day

The School of Engineering will host an open house for prospective students, parents and the general public.
9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 11
Morris University Center and Engineering Building
Morris University Center (MUC)
- 8:00 AM Check-in period opens
- 9:00 AM to 9:50 AM – Presentation: School of Engineering Overview
- 10:00 AM – Individual Interest Programming – Department presentations (for all programs) begin in various rooms in the MUC.
Engineering Building, SIUE
- 11:00 AM – Guests are escorted to the Engineering Building, where they will have the opportunity to attend a second round of department presentations, speak to faculty, staff, students, campus and industry partners; view student projects and interactive lab demonstrations and exhibits of our various engineering departments and programs, including: civil engineering, computer science, construction management, electrical & computer engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, and mechatronics & robotics engineering.
- Activities: visit labs, view student projects, speak with faculty, students, campus and industry partners.
- SIUE Office of Financial Aid Presentation
- 2:00 PM – Full Campus Tour
Our Campus Connections: Office of Admissions, Office of Financial Aid, and the Career Development Center will be on hand to answer questions. Industry Partners will also be available to talk about the employment opportunities available in their respective companies.
Lunch will be provided, and free parking is available in Lot B.
