PANELISTS TO DISCUSS COMPETITIVE BIDDING ON CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS AT IFMA ST. LOUIS

St. Louis, MO – December 19, 2016 – Construction projects require due diligence in finding the right contractors at a reasonable cost. The St. Louis chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), will look at the competitive bidding and negotiation process necessary to deliver the best results. The program will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017.

Program outline:

Panelists will review a range of issues concerning the bidding process for construction projects. The program will address the role of general contractors, the criteria for selecting suppliers, guaranteed maximum pricing, bidding options, design alterations, contingency costs and more.
