First national WBE certification for Fenton-based firm.
Landco Construction, a leading St. Louis interior construction company, is honored to receive national Women’s Business Enterprise certification from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). This national certification confirms that a company is at least 51% owned and controlled by one or more women.
According to the WBENC, WBE certification is one of the most widely recognized and respected certifications in the nation. Accepted by hundreds of corporations within the country and a number of federal, state and local government agencies, WBENC certification is an important tool for expanding a company’s visibility among decision makers in corporate supply chain diversity and procurement organizations.
Already WBE-certified by the State of Missouri, Landco’s CEO, Linda Bernhard, says this national certification is a powerful tool in securing RFPs and in the bidding process. “We’ve been so fortunate,” says Bernhard. “With diversity and equality far more on companies’ minds, this is an essential certification, and certainly one of the top prerequisites our clients are looking for in a partner. We received the State of Missouri certification last year, and this national recognition will help us expand into new markets to better serve our clients’ needs.”

Since 2001, Landco Construction has built astounding interior projects – and a strong reputation with clients for collaboration, consistency and service. A Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), Landco is led by CEO Linda Bernhard and her talented, experienced team of project managers and craftsmen (and women). Her vision reflects the company’s founding vision: Service, above all else. It’s why Landco has received multiple ASA Contractor of the Year awards, and why they’re consistently among the top construction companies in St. Louis.
