Daniel Fahey Joins McGrath as Project Manager
Daniel Fahey of University City, MO, has joined McGrath & Associates as a project manager and has been initially assigned to projects at a food production facility and a chemical plant. Fahey previously managed construction projects in the power generation and transmission, laboratory, competitive sports, retail and medical industries. He is a member of the Living Well Foundation Board of Directors and an AGC of America superintendent training program instructor, and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota.

Julie Steffens Promoted to Associate Director
Julie Steffens, NCIDQ was recently promoted to associate director for Lawrence Group’s healthcare and education studios. Steffens joined Lawrence Group in 1996 as an intern and was hired on full-time in 1999. She has developed and implemented interior design master plans and fostered long-term relationships with several local and national clients including Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) and East Central College (ECC).

Habitat For Humanity Saint Louis Welcomes New Volunteer Services Manager
Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis (HFHSL) has announced that Joe Fetter has joined the organization as Volunteer Services Manager.
Mr. Fetter will direct all aspects of Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis’ volunteer program including recruitment, orientation, scheduling, retaining and recognition for all HFHSL volunteers. He will serve as the site manager and administrator for the AmeriCorps, internship and community services programs at the organization.
Mr. Fetter is a graduate of Fordham University with a BA degree in English and Journalism, and received a Master’s in Public Administration from St. Louis University. He is a member of the JDRF Young Leadership committee and serves on the membership committee of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of St. Louis.

Barbara Anderson Joins HOK’s St. Louis Office as Project Manager
Barbara Anderson, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, has joined HOK as a project manager. In her new role, Anderson will assist on multiple projects, initially working with the healthcare and interiors teams. Anderson brings more than 25 years of experience in a wide variety of project types including municipal, federal, recreational, educational, healthcare, correctional, commercial and hospitality. She currently serves on the board for the St. Louis chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and has been involved with the U.S. Green Building Council since 2009, serving on the 2014-2015 Missouri Gateway Chapter board.
Prior to joining HOK, Anderson was the manager of the building + sites group at Oates Associates. As a member of the firm’s board of directors, Anderson was responsible for the management and oversight of architects, civil engineers and structural engineers, as well as all aspects of architectural projects. She earned her degree in architectural studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Colleen Barry Joins Tarlton Corp.
Tarlton Corp., a St. Louis-based general contracting and construction management firm, hired Colleen Barry as marketing and business development associate.
In this role, Barry is supporting Tarlton’s efforts in marketing and branding, sharing team success stories with the construction community and public, while also supporting the business development group’s pursuit of new opportunities.

At the company year-end Board of Directors’ meeting, H&G/Schultz Door appointed Karen Clark to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Clark was previously Controller for the company and has been employed by H&G/Schultz Door since 2010. She has over 25 years of increasingly-responsible accounting, finance and management experience. Karen has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
