Robert received his Associates of Science in CAD Technology from Lewis & Clark Community College, comes with 25 years mechanical design experience and is proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks. His former employers include: United Excel Design, HBE, Airtherm and most recent Icon Mechanical.
Ramonda Harris Joins HOK’s St. Louis Office as Project Accountant

Ramonda Harris has joined HOK as a project accountant in St. Louis. In her new role, she will work with the corporate accounting team and regional offices to maintain accurate and timely accounting records.
Harris joins HOK from Corrigan Co., where she was an accounts payable manager. Prior to that she worked at TSi Geotechnical, Inc. and Metropolitan Build, Inc. Ramonda Harris is a resident of St. Louis, MO

Kurt Voss promoted to Vice President of Engineering at IFS

Kurt Voss, P.E. of Saint Louis has been promoted to Vice President of Engineering at Integrated Facility Services (IFS). He is responsible for overall management and strategic direction of the IFS Engineering & Design Team. Voss joined IFS in 2008 as sales engineer and most recently was director of engineering.
Voss is a graduate of the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, MO.
Integrated Facility Services (IFS), formerly Air Masters Corporation, is a full-service HVAC, plumbing, piping, fire protection and building automation firm.
Charles E. Brant joins Kwame Building Group, Inc. as Senior Project Manager

Charles E. Brant has joined Kwame Building Group, Inc. (KWAME) as a senior project manager responsible for design management of projects within the $1.6 billion Dallas Independent School District 2015 Bond Program. Brant has a Bachelor of Architecture from Oklahoma State University. He has 13 years of experience as an architect and project manager for education, municipal and housing projects. Brant is LEED AP BD&C and NCARB certified, and has been named an American Institute of Architecture (AIA) Dallas Chapter “Young Architect of the Year.”

James Williams II has joined Kwame Building Group, Inc. (KWAME) as senior project manager. He is responsible for project coordination, budget documentation and project communications, including projects within the $1.6 billion Dallas Independent School District 2015 Bond Program.
Stacy Robben Recognized As A 2016 SMPS Fellow

SMPS-St. Louis member Stacy Robben, CPSM, LEED AP BD+C, has been recognized by the Society of Marketing Professional Services as one of the 2016 Fellows of the Society. Stacy serves as Director of Business Development at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.
SMPS Fellows represent the highest level of experience and leadership in marketing and business development within the design and building industry. Members who have 15 years’ experience as a marketer and/or business developer in the A/E/C industry, have been an active member for 10 of the previous 15 consecutive years, and who have held a current Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) designation for a minimum of five years were eligible to apply for the Fellows Recognition Program
Stacy will serve as a resource at the chapter, regional, and Society levels to provide insight, ideas, programs, and mentoring. SMPS Fellows will be honored during the SMPS Awards Gala on August 11 as part of Build Business, the SMPS annual conference.
“Stacy has been a significant contributor to the growth and success of the St. Louis chapter for many years, and we’re excited to continue benefiting from her marketing leadership and expertise,” says SMPS St. Louis President, Jessica Davila.
KAI Design & Build hires Heros Ghadimi as Senior Project Coordinator
KAI Design & Build has welcomed Heros Ghadimi as Senior Project Coordinator.
Ghadimi has more than 40 years of experience in the AEC (architecture/engineering/construction), and holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington. Ghadimi is also a certified LEED Green Professional.
“Heros brings a wealth of experience to KAI, especially his expertise in sustainable design,” said Michael B. Kennedy, President of KAI Design & Build. “With more than four decades of extensive project coordination, we know he will be a valuable addition to our team.”
Ghadimi responsibilities include ensuring the client, staff and subconsultants have access to – and operate from – the correct procedures of activities. Additionally, Ghadimi will lead the KAI project team to success by managing essential interlinking design and drafting components between all project stakeholders including KAI’s affiliate offices. Ghadimi is a Texas native.
KAI Design & Build Welcomes Ashraf Hamad as Senior Project Engineer
Ashraf Hamad has joined KAI Design & Build as Senior Project Engineer. Hamad, a Project Management Professional certified through the Project Management Institute, brings more than ten years of project management experience to KAI and holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
“We are excited to welcome Ashraf Hamad to the KAI family,” said Brian Arnold, Vice President of Construction for KAI Design & Build. “We know he will be a valuable asset to our team.”
Hamad will serve as a liaison between clients and KAI’s multidisciplined team to ensure the successful execution of construction-related projects and activities. Hamad’s responsibilities will include overseeing the entire lifecycle of a project to ensure compliance with scope, budget and schedule at KAI’s St. Louis and affiliate offices in Texas, Nebraska and Georgia.
