Ken Kruse Elected President of Home Builders Association (HBA) of St. Louis & Eastern Missouri
Ken Kruse, president of Payne Family Homes, has been elected the 83rd president of the Home Builders Association (HBA) of St. Louis & Eastern Missouri. The HBA is a local trade association of more than 600 member firms representing the residential construction industry.

Preston Scott, RA, LEED AP BD+C, Becomes Registered Architect
Hastings+Chivetta Architects is pleased to announce that Preston Scott, RA, LEED AP BD+C, has become a Registered Architect in the state of Missouri. Preston joined the firm in 2014 as a Junior Architectural Designer after graduating from the University of Notre Dame where he majored in Architecture. He currently serves as Architect for the University of Louisville’s Student Activities Center Renovation and Addition.

Oculus Inc. Adds Marketing Assistant
Oculus Inc., a full-service architecture and interior design firm, is pleased to announce the addition of our new Marketing Assistant, Sarah Kreider.
Sarah brings over eight years of experience working as a Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer at a boutique photography studio where she assisted the marketing needs and provided administrative support. Her duties consist of developing and maintaining marketing information systems, assisting in preparation of proposals, marketing correspondence and marketing material, and researching target markets and potential clients. Her skills include implementation of public ¬relations campaigns, preparation of brochures and mailings. Sarah’s job related software skills include experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
To compliment Ms. Kreider’s work experience, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from McKendree University.

Richard Paist Joins Integrated Facility Services (IFS)
Richard Paist of Springfield, Missouri, has joined Integrated Facility Services (IFS) as Senior Project Engineer. Paist is working on multi-family and senior living projects in Kansas City, MO, and Stillwater, OK, for IFS, a St. Louis-based HVAC, plumbing, piping, fire protection and building automation firm.
Paist has more than 40 years of experience in industrial, commercial and government construction projects. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Geneva College and studied Mechanical Engineering at Drexel University.
