Bryan Herberg of Kirkwood, MO, has joined McGrath & Associates as a project engineer/estimator responsible for estimating, project scope development, subcontractor coordination and scheduling. Herberg has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Missouri-St. Louis/Washington University. He has six years of experience in mechanical contracting with a specialization in process piping installation.

Mosby Building Arts New Hires and Expansions

The St. Louis remodeling firm hires a new Consultant, Administrative Assistant and Production Assistant, and expands customer service

Mosby Building Arts is pleased to announce the addition of Courtney Kinsella as Production Assistant, Morgen Nelson as Administrative Assistant, and Kyle Slaughter as Home Consultant. In addition, the customer service roles of Noël Powers and Todd Bachman have expanded in scope and title to Client Experience Coordinators.

Courtney Kinsella has a Bachelor’s of Liberal Studies and in her role as Production Assistant works with Mosby Production Managers to keep track of project hours and billings.

Morgen Nelson has a B.A. in Psychology and in her role as Administrative Assistant, she help the company run smoothly, internally, and serves as the external first point of contact as receptionist.

Kyle Slaughter has nearly a decade of experience in real estate and insurance renovation that he brings to his role as a Home Consultant. He works with homeowners to analyze and enact their best home improvement options.

With a title change to Client Experience Coordinators, Noël Powers and Todd Bachmann have assumed a broader range of customer service duties. From initial client intake to social media, events, client surveys and weekly service check-ins, they keep Mosby’s homeowners updated, engaged and satisfied throughout the entire remodeling process.

Tyler Cluff Named Board Member of St. Louis Chapter of NARI

Tyler Cluff, Vice President of Production of St. Louis remodeling firm Mosby Building Arts, has been named a board member of the St. Louis chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).

Tyler Cluff said of his appointment, “I am happy to be a local NARI board member, and eager to begin re-organizing and boosting St. Louis membership. The Kansas City chapter has over 250 members; St. Louis should and can have those numbers. I will do my part to recruit more professionals by educating our peers on the benefits of NARI’s certification programs.”

When homeowners work with a NARI professional, they are working with an experienced and dedicated remodeler who voluntarily adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Certifications include green remodeling, universal design, and lead safety.

Blake Grinestaff has joined McGrath & Associates as a project engineer responsible for project coordination, estimating and project documentation. Grinestaff has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville and was an intern with McGrath for two years. He is a member of the Missouri Society of Healthcare Engineers and the American Concrete Institute.

McGrath & Associates is a general contractor and construction management firm specializing in commercial, health care, industrial, institutional and pharmaceutical construction projects since 1983.

Professional Installers, Inc. Hires Steve Giacin as New President and Chief Operating Officer

Former President of Kaiser Electric and the American Subcontractors Association – Midwest Council, Steve Giacin has joined Professional Installers, Inc. (PI) as its new President and Chief Operating Officer. PI founder, Aubrey Kimberling, has assumed the position of Chairman of the Board and CEO. Located in Maryland Heights, MO, Professional Installers, was established in 1984 and continues to be the premier contract office furniture installer in the Midwest.

Steve brings 35+ years of construction, construction management, operations and executive level experience to the Professional Installers, Inc. team. Steve will be responsible for corporate strategy, growth, cost containment and business development. “As part of our overall growth and diversification strategy, we are very excited to have someone with Steve’s experience and qualifications in the construction industry joining our team and look forward to opening up new vertical and geographic market channels for PI”, added Aubrey Kimberling.

Before joining PI, Giacin most recently was the Vice President, Division General Manager for a national electrical contracting firm overseeing its Colorado operation which included $35 million of P/L responsibility. Prior to that he was President of St. Louis based Kaiser Electric from 2008-2014. He has also served as the President of the American Subcontractors Association – Midwest Council, has been a Leadership Chair and Board Member of ASA National, served on the Boards of NECA St. Louis Chapter, St. Louis Amateur Blues and Affton Hockey, and was Hockey Coach at MICDS in 2011-2012. Having grown up in his father’s masonry and snow removal businesses, Steve became an IBEW electrical apprentice in 1985, worked in the field as an electrician from 1989-1993 before taking his first management position. Steve has his Bachelor of Science degree from Webster University. Steve’s wife Cathy is Executive Director of the Bi-State Fabricators Association.
