This brand-new transit-oriented development is providing senior apartment living immediately adjacent to the Swansea MetroLink Station and MetroBikeLink Trail in Swansea, Ill. The three-story complex features 62 affordable one- and two-bedroom apartments for active seniors seeking an independent lifestyle with convenient access to restaurants, retail, entertainment venues, recreational locations, employment centers and medical facilities around the bi-state region. The event will feature brief remarks, light refreshments and a ceremonial ribbon cutting for the project, which is on track to be fully occupied before the end of March.
