Spiegelglass Construction Completes Contemporary Event Venue

The Venue at Maison du Lac is Nestled on 25 Scenic Acres

Spiegelglass Construction Company recently completed construction on two projects for Ces and Judy’s Catering – a long-term client beginning its next chapter. The Venue at Maison du Lac, a 7,000 square-foot modern event space nestled on 20+ acres of property, is now open and available for rentals. Additionally, a 5,000 square-foot commissary in Frontenac is now servicing the company’s growing off-premise catering business; the company caters weddings, corporate events and social gatherings and is a preferred caterer for more than 30 venues around St. Louis.

The Venue at Maison du Lac features a modern architectural design with high ceilings, state-of-the-art sound and lighting, an outdoor deck overlooking the lake, and striking 12 and 18-foot windows offering natural light and panoramic views. The vast property also boasts indoor and outdoor ceremony location options, lush greenery with plenty of grassy areas for yard games, and a well-lit, paved parking lot with easy access to the property. Set on a scenic 25 acre countryside property, the private event estate – which also includes the Catawissa Stone House built in 1843 and a barn for indoor ceremonies – is ideal for weddings, corporate events and large-scale social gatherings.

“We’ve worked with Spiegelglass Construction on a range of projects since 1995,” continued Hoffius. “When we began planning the next phase of our business, we asked Spiegelglass Construction to work alongside us to outline our construction strategy. They were with us every step of the way, from viewing the property and assessing its feasibility, to building out each detail so the venue looks as gorgeous as our clients expect.”

The Venue can accommodate up to 300 guests, with options to make the space feel more intimate for smaller gatherings such as birthday or retirement parties, showers, corporate functions or retreats, anniversaries, reunions and meetings.

Based in St. Louis, Spiegelglass Construction Company has been a family-owned general contractor since its inception in 1904.For more information, please visit
