May 30 ceremony to celebrate construction of new Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital
Leadership of BJC HealthCare and Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM), along with physicians, city officials, and the project team, will gather at 8 a.m., May 30, for a ceremonial ground breaking for the new Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital (BJWCH).
The event will signify the start of construction on a modern hospital to replace the existing facility. It also will celebrate the continuation of caring for the community envisioned by the Signorelli family when they opened Faith Hospital in Creve Coeur 48 years ago.
