Etegra, inc. Awarded $9M U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville Master Planning A-E IDIQ

The MCFA-Etegra Joint Venture is proud to announce the official contract award to provide Architect/Engineer Services & Master Planning Services for Military and Civil Works Projects within the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division Mission Boundaries under a contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District.

The MCFA-Etegra JV (M|E JV) is a small business Joint Venture between Etegra, Inc. (Etegra) a SBA Certified 8(a) and DBE/MBE Small Business and MC Fuhrman Associates, LLC, a Small Business. The firms partnered together to offer the USACE Louisville District and its customers an optimum blend of master planning and conceptual design services ranging from big picture military installation master planning, infrastructure planning and civil works project development to individual project facilities planning and programming expertise.

Established in 1886, the Louisville District employs approximately 1,300 people in the five-state area of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio out of 60 field offices. The civilian workforce is made up of professional engineers, architects, planners, economists, biologists and other specialists and support staff. The mission of the Louisville District is to deliver solutions and manage resources supporting regional and national requirements through an expert team of multidisciplinary professionals utilizing best engineering practices and strategic partnerships to reduce disaster risk, strengthen the economy and support national security.

The contract term is for one base year plus four option years and work is forecasted to commence later this year.

Etegra founders Mr. Andrew Kishna, CEO, and Mr. Paul Ramsaroop, COO, established a partnership with the plan for an accelerated growth business model that included an infrastructure that could handle the growth, an aggressive marketing strategy, and a focus on fostering partnerships and client relationships. Because of their backgrounds with Federal Programs, they developed an acquisition strategy to gain contracts with the DoD and other Public Agencies.

Etegra began to grow rapidly. In 2013, revenues topped $200K, with more than $600K in 2014, $1.75M in 2015, and $4.6M in 2016. To date, Etegra has executed almost $5M over 17 task orders on the above referenced contracts alone.

“You can only do so much as a small firm, therefore we have to be strategic,” Kishna said. “Despite our size, that strategy has led to winning larger long term contracts with significant clients.”

Etegra, Inc. Awarded $10M Department of Treasury Architect-Engineer IDIQ

Etegra, Inc., was awarded a prime 8(a) contract from the Department of Treasury to provide a full range of architect-engineer (A-E) services for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) facility in Fort Worth Texas. The anticipated value of the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract is an estimated total of $10M, and will have a one-year base period and four oneyear option periods.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing’s Western Currency Facility (WCF), is one of only two locations in the U.S. that print currency (Washington, D.C. being the other). This 750,000 SF operation with 600 employees, approximately 250 contractors, 11 unions, and produces more than half of the nation’s currency order by operating 24-7 year-round. In addition to U.S. currency, the BEP produces several other security documents such as portions of U.S. passports, materials for Homeland Security, military identification cards, and Immigration and Naturalization Certificates.

Under this contract, Etegra will provide A-E services including, but not limited to the design, preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates for various projects at the WCF.

To date, Etegra has received a request for a proposal for one task order which involves the design and upgrade of the Building Automation System.
