Currently, celebrating its 58th anniversary, The Korte Company is honoring the life of founder and design-build pioneer, Ralph Korte.

After the tornados of December 1957, Ralph got to work rebuilding local buildings. Over 3,000 projects and 45 million square feet of construction later, the Korte Company has consistently been named one of the top privately owned companies in the St. Louis Area.
In 1958, Ralph Korte founded The Korte Company when he bought an 8-inch heavy-duty saw for $79 and a pick-up truck for $100 in the town of Highland, Illinois. 58 years later, The Korte Company has completed more than 3,000 projects across 42 states and Puerto Rico. The company, which helped establish the design-build method, has delivered more than 45 million square feet of construction in the healthcare, education, and industrial sectors.
